Sunday 9 August 2009

Its the 9th of August and on the 11th Mike and myself leave for the states. My first blog is to inform you of where we will be taking ourselves whilst over there. Now i do have a map with a route created on getjealous.com -

http://www.getjealous.com/getjealous.php?action=map&map_id=20&go=carrieandmike. This may be an easy way to track us.

However, i will give you a rundown of the places.

Firstly we arrive in New York and spend a glorious amount of time there seeing the sites, consuming a lot of calories and being oh so tourist that we will probably buy a 'i love NY' shirt or something equally as cheesy.

Then we are off to Washington DC, here we are going to be yet again sight seeing, taking in the eye captivating shot of the white house.

Then our little adventure takes us off to Florida, which will be far more apprieciated than anywhere so far as we are on an 18 hour coach trip down there. Here we will soak up the sun, explore our inside child in Disney land and become repetatively jealous of the film industry as we travel through Universal studies.

Then it is off to New Orleans, my most anticipated place. Im a lover of the sound of Jazz, yet not a fan. I hope to consume multiple coronas and have a bit of a dance somewhere on Bourbon street. Then whilst we nurse one of the most sensationalist hangovers we will ever encounter we will cruise down a swamp in the sun to visit some crocs.

Then we take ourselves to Las Vegas, where we may gamble, get drunk, explore and generally live like rich people as our hotel is dirt cheap but clearly a place of extravagance and somewhere Liza Minelli would stay. We will also take a coach trip to the Grand canyon and have the breath sucked out of our body, i heard it does that to you.

Then we will be arriving in California where we will be staying in Hollywood. A chance for me to have a shot with Travolta and numerous other celebs on the walk of fame. Whilst in California we will make our way up to San Francisco, stay there for a short time before taking a trip to Yosemite. Where i pray to see Yogi Bear, a moose and multiple amounts of critters and extravegant trees.

Then as we arrive back in San Fran we will get on a flight to fly over to Hawaii. Here we will soak in the warm sea and lie on the hot sand. Drink a lot of fruity cocktails and hopefully swim with sea turtles, avoiding any sort of shark or octopus.

Then we fly back to San Fran, to New York, to Paris and then to Manchester.

Keep posted, i will be sure to inform you with the most entertaining stories of embarrassment, mishaps and funny funny times.

Goodbye for now.
